Situated along the R320, Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, a scenic drive through this popular wine growing area brings one to Ataraxia, in the foothills of the majestic Babilonstoren. Winemaker, Kevin Grant, continues to push the envelope in fine-tuning the three handcrafted wines made from grapes grown in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and other prime wine growing areas.

The House of Veuve A. Devaux was founded in 1846 and was run by one of Champagne's great characters, Madame Augusta Devaux. In 1986 the house was entrusted to a group of the leading growers in Champagne, with over 1400 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Bar. This region produces some of the finest Pinot Noir in the appellation and Devaux selects the very best pockets of fruit to be blended with premium Chardonnay for their range of products. CL Back & Company is the exclusive distributor of Champagne Devaux in South Africa.

EGA is the first product launched by Fairlife, founded in 2006 and based in the Paarl winelands, in South Africa. The philosophy of the company is to create and craft innovative products, with an emphasis on premium quality, healthy living and socially responsible production. With a winemaking background, Erlank Erasmus is responsible for the production of EGA and is committed to exploring and better utilising the fantastic benefits that can be derived from natural products. Much of the company's focus is based around antioxidants, widely recognised for their role in reducing the effects of ageing. Hence the company's first product is called EGA, age in reverse!
